Mean people don't suck. I don't feel mad or sorry for mean people. Usually, the more mean, rude or disrespectful a person is, the more insecure that person is. Once I can make that distinction and look at things objectively, it's hard to be mad or offended by a person's unlikeable behavior. I see scared little boys and girls in adults bodies every day of my life. Like the t-shirt says, "Let's Hug It Out."

When I was living in Europe, I collected graffiti. I would go out specifically hunting it and would document it to death. Especially when there was change in the same location. It was one of my things, along with church doors and windows and fountains. And then I moved back to California and just stopped. This is stupid, because there is hella good stuff to shoot here. Definitely better than the stuff you see in Italy.

I think my thing is that I don't know how to shoot it in a creative way. Because straight up shooting, there are so many people that do that better than I can.

Anyway, this caught my eye. I was hoping for some grade a fence hopping - no luck. But I did get what I thought would be a trespassing fix. Turns out I just want to do more now. But that's that.

And, yes, this is geotagged. But don't worry, it's just geotagged to say Fremont and the map doesn't actually show the place where I shot it. And Fremont's a big freaking city. I don't want to be an assshole, but I also don't want to ruin my map. Happy compromise.

This week for Art Class, I had to make a sculpture that depicted an actual person. I know it looks kind of odd, but if you suint your eyes and tilt your head a little to the right it kind of looks like Bob Marley :)
