I need to be myself
I can't be no one else
I'm feeling supersonic
Give me gin and tonic
You can have it all but how much do you want it?

The number one rated beach in Australia - Whitehaven Beach.
Whitehaven Beach is by far the most recognised of all the Whitsundays landmarks. Stretching about 4.5km and consisting of fine, brilliant white sand, it presents the image that is used more often in tourism brochures and regularly on TV advertising in Australia. The view from the lookout across Hill inlet is remarkable and on a sunny day (Like most days are), it is nothing short of spectacular.
The sand at Whitehaven Beach is 98% pure silica. The water lapping along the beach which is usually sheltered during the south easterly trade winds (Most of the year) and so the water where the sea meets the beach is often crystal clear and makes for perfect swimming.

#142 - You Never Give Me Your Money click to see this BIG
Today I worked at the Neighbours event to celebrate their 6000th episode. What an achievment. Really. To think a show has gone on for 25 years and can still hold an audience is absolutely remarkable. I really admire all of the people that have worked on that for many years and it was nice to see some of them today with smiles on their faces.
The party itself was held in the Penthouse Suite of one of Melbourne's newest and hottest hotels and I took some time after everybody had left to snap this picture of me on one part of it's balcony overlooking Melbourne city.
To add to the fun of today, Video Hits had been shooting at the party and after everybody had left, they appeared to be setting up for another shot. Perplexed, my workmate and I continued to work away when Richard Ashcroft (from The Verve... You know 'Bittersweet Symphony'?) walked on in, said hello and sat down. We looked at each other and were like 'What? Why is Richard Ashcroft sitting here in this room?'. Turns out, Video Hits had booked a 15 minute interview and we had to take a break so they could shoot. So there we sat, with 5 others, in a Penthouse Suite listening to Richard Ashcroft talk. Cool!

View On Black
